The Hopkinsville High School Tigers took on the Fort Campbell Falcons in a thrilling basketball game on Tuesday night. The Tigers dominated from the start, with a 24-15 lead at the end of the first quarter. Despite early foul trouble, senior Isiah Manning was able to come back later into the game and make a significant impact on the court.
The Tigers continued their strong performance in the second quarter, with Antonio Williams scoring 22 points in the first half alone. At halftime, the Tigers had a commanding lead of 47-27.
The Tigers maintained dominance in the third quarter, with a running clock in the final minutes. The score at the end of the third quarter was 72-33 in favor of Hopkinsville. Senior Kris Johnson, coming off the bench, added to the Tigers’ lead with several rebounds and 10 points.
The Tigers sealed the deal in the final quarter with a score of 90-45. Antonio Williams led the team with 26 points, and KeiMarion Smith added 18 points. Off the bench, Kris Johnson contributed 10 points, along with 4 points from sophomore Kentrell Adams. It was a dominant performance by the Tigers, which proved too much for the Falcons to handle.
