Melissa “Missy” Gibbs, 57, a lifelong resident of Hopkinsville, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, March 30, 2025, due to natural causes.
A memorial service to honor her life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Lamb Funeral Home. The service will be officiated by Rev. Gene Bailey. Visitation will take place at the funeral home prior to the service, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
Born on January 5, 1968, in Hopkinsville, Missy was the daughter of the late Gilbert Crick and the late Gwenyth “Sue” Gibbs. She devoted many years to her role as the manager of Ferrell’s Snappy Service, where she was known for her dedication and friendly spirit.
Missy was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved son, Jason Gibbs.
She is survived by her husband, Todd Hudson of Hopkinsville; two sons, Mikie Gibbs and James Kirby, both of Hopkinsville; two brothers, Charlie Gibbs and Eddie Gibbs; and two sisters, Brandy Gibbs of Hopkinsville and Tiffany Daniels of Kelly, KY. She also leaves behind five cherished grandchildren: Donovan Gibbs Jones, Phillip Gibbs Jones, Zachary Gibbs Jones, Abbie McDonald, and Jacob Morse.
Missy will be remembered for her unwavering strength, her love for her family, and the lasting impact she made on those around her.
