Hopkinsville Woman Arrested on Drug Charges Following Traffic Stop in Oak Grove

Oak Grove, KY – April 8, 2025 – A routine traffic stop in Oak Grove led to the arrest of a Hopkinsville woman on drug-related charges late Monday evening.

According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Office, the stop occurred on April 7 in the parking lot of the Flying J Travel Center. Deputies initiated the stop after observing violations related to vehicle equipment and registration.

During the course of the stop, further investigation prompted a consensual search of the vehicle and the driver’s personal belongings. Authorities reported that suspected fentanyl was discovered concealed in the driver’s side door pocket.

The driver, identified as 39-year-old Katherine B. Lamb of Hopkinsville, was taken into custody at the scene. She faces charges of possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence.

Lamb was transported to the Christian County Jail, where she awaits further legal proceedings.

The investigation remains ongoing.
