According to law enforcement sources, the alleged murder suicide in Queens on Saturday night was the result of a tragic love triangle, with the love interest witnessing the bloodbath.

Police arrived at the bloody scene in Bayside shortly after 10 p.m. and discovered 17-year-old Neo Secaira with a gunshot wound to the chest and Frank Liu, 28, a US Marine about to be redeployed, dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, police said.

Both victims were taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital and pronounced dead, according to police.

According to sources, the mayhem was caused by a love triangle between the two dead men and an unidentified 19-year-old woman.

Liu’s father, Huili Liu, 64, told The Post on Sunday that his son was troubled by the trauma of his overseas service in the Marine Corps, as well as his strained relationship with the younger woman.

“My son had psychological treatment all the time in the Marine Corps,” the distraught father explained. “Especially recently, because his Jordanian colleagues had died.

“The pressure of being called up and this, combined, was too much,” the older man explained.

Huili Liu said his son met the younger woman while serving in North Carolina and brought her back to New York, where she recently revealed that she was also dating Secaira.

“I ask, why? It’s only one girl. “There are many girls,” he told his broken-hearted son. “The girl stayed in my apartment for half a year. He spent quite some time with her. She chose to study here.”

It’s unclear when Neo Secaira started seeing the woman.

In a cruel twist, the dead teen’s mother told The Post that she found out about her son’s violent death from the alleged killer’s mother.

“At 7:50 this morning, a woman rings my bell,” distraught mother Yolanda Secaira revealed on Sunday. “She asked me and said, ‘Your son has curly hair?’ I said ‘Yes.’ She claimed my son killed your son. I asked, ‘What? “Your son killed my son?” She said yes.

“It’s a horrible story, and then she pointed to my husband and she turned and left,” according to her.

According to the sources, the 19-year-old woman ended her relationship with the older man and began dating the younger man, which triggered the jealous outburst.

Yolanda Secaira, 50, said her son’s boss informed her that his new love interest called him at work on Saturday and asked him to come pick her up.

The teen left work early and was killed when he arrived.

Meanwhile, the super in Liu’s building revealed that the alleged murderer was an Army veteran who had lived with his parents in the family’s fourth-floor apartment for about ten years.

“He had a Chinese girlfriend, a younger girl, a student,” he told me. “About seven months ago, she locked herself out and I attempted to assist her. She called him, and he called me, and he yelled at me, saying, ‘Why aren’t you trying to help her?’

“Then he calls me again, screaming and cursing and angry and crazy, and then some hours later it turns out it’s because she was in the wrong building,” said the super, who declined to be identified.

“It’s always stuff like this with him, all this crazy kid stuff,” he told me. “He was a stupid kid.”

The shooting shook the neighborhood.

“I heard gunshots, and then I heard a woman screaming, ‘Help, help,'” neighbor Jennie Kim told The Post. “My daughter called me, and she was afraid. I went in, and we saw a young woman, probably in high school or college. Teens, perhaps 20. Asian lady with long hair. And we heard shots.

“There are three in a row and then a pause, maybe 30 seconds, maybe a minute,” said Kim, who is 43 years old. “And then at least one more gunshot.”

The NYPD has not identified the victims and said the investigation into the fatal shooting is still ongoing.
