Gary Day, 40, the man accused of child abduction in a two-month AMBER Alert for a pregnant Wisconsin teenager, was extradited to Wisconsin and appeared in court on Thursday.

Day, who is facing two felony charges of child abduction and two felony charges of child enticement, appeared in court in Dodge County, just over two weeks after being arrested in Nebraska.

Day is accused of kidnapping 17-year-old Beaver Dam resident Sophia Franklin, who is pregnant with Day’s child. After being initiated in Wisconsin on February 3, the AMBER Alert spread to Missouri and Arkansas.

The court set Day’s cash bond at $2 million.
