Ohio – Miciah, a 27-year-old Ohio man, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with first-degree murder of his family member, J. SwindIer, 59, at their shared residence.

The defendant confessed to the crime and called 911, which brought the incident to light. During the call, he stated that “he is not going to lie and that he killed his parent.”

Micaiah was taken to the authorities, where he confessed to fatally stabbing his parent in the head and neck, according to court records. Following the stabbing, he reportedly cleaned himself up, changed his clothes, and dialed 911.

During the 911 call, the defendant stated that his father was ‘not the nicest guy.’

When police arrived at the scene, they discovered that the victim had died. The 27-year-old man was arrested without incident. He is currently being held in the county jail with a $1 million bond.

The local police department, in collaboration with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, has launched an extensive investigation into the incident.

Forensic teams are examining evidence collected at the scene, and investigators are speaking with neighbors and potential witnesses to piece together the events leading up to the homicide.

The 27-year-old man is scheduled to appear in court later this week for arraignment. If convicted of first-degree murder, he could face a life sentence.

According to police records, the 27-year-old defendant claimed he killed his parent “because a higher power told him to.”

The incident has shocked and saddened the local community, as the family was well-known to many. Counseling services are available to those affected by the tragedy.

Authorities in Ohio have urged anyone with additional information about the case to come forward and help with the ongoing investigation.
