F— you': Father has choice words for cops after being captured at arcade a week after 3-year-old discovered abandoned near the woods streets from his home, according to deputies

A father was not pleased when deputies apprehended him after he had been on the run for more than a week in connection with his 3-year-old daughter wandering outside, with the child sporting a bruise and a fresh abrasion, according to deputies in Indian River County, Florida.

“F— you,” Cody William Goble told officers when he was arrested.

Goble, 39, posted a $17,000 bond out of the local jail on charges of child neglect, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies discovered him with meth and a pipe.

Body camera footage obtained by Tequesta ABC affiliate WPBF shows a man named Goble yelling expletives while a deputy points a taser at him.

Deputies report that the 3-year-old girl was discovered wandering alone on May 3 by a local man who was playing with his own daughter.

“He stated that it appeared she was walking out from the wood line directly across from the residence,” according to authorities. “He advised he walked over and she raised her arms up to be picked up by him.”

Deputies reported finding the child’s mother, who had no idea her daughter was allegedly wandering alone.

According to documents, the mother said she dropped her three children off at their father’s house around 5:30 p.m. Though the two older children, ages 7 and 9, were found safe at a friend’s house, the baby girl was only a few blocks away from her father’s house.

The mother stated that she received a call from the father at approximately 7:21 p.m. that evening, informing her that he could not find the girl.

The individual “stated that she became panicked because this happened previously in January with Cody and that a recent DCF investigation into that incident had just closed,” according to the documents.

Authorities claimed to have discovered Goble’s phone in a ditch. They said they were able to reach him by phone the next day, but he refused to meet them in person because he did not want to go to jail.

He allegedly claimed he lost track of his daughter, who was playing outside, because he chased their fleeing dog.

Investigators said they tracked him down on May 12 to a lot with a gas station and an arcade. When he saw them, he fled into the arcade building, but to no avail, according to records.
