On April 7, a Christian County Sheriff’s officer made a traffic stop in the parking lot of the Flying J in Oak Grove. The sheriff’s office said the stop was started because of observed vehicle equipment and registration problems.

During the encounter, the deputy acquired information, which led to a consented search of the car and personal belongings.

Following the inquiry, suspected fentanyl was discovered in the driver’s door pocket.
