A car stop on Greenville Road in Christian County resulted in narcotics charges for three men on Tuesday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies said they stopped a car driven by 52-year-old Jeffrey Tucker of Utica, and discovered that one of his passengers, 42-year-old Brandon Marvin of Livermore, had an active warrant for contempt of court in McLean County.
A law enforcement K9 reportedly alerted on the vehicle, and during the search, suspected meth, marijuana, and a white powder substance were discovered.
Tucker, Marvin, and the second passenger, 44-year-old Jay Riley of Calhoun, were all detained and charged with possessing meth, marijuana, and an unknown controlled narcotic.
Tucker was additionally charged with failing to signal, driving recklessly, obstructing eyesight and/or the windshield, and improperly displaying registration plates.
