Pritzker hasn’t decided whether he’ll testify before Congress.
Gov. J.B. Pritzker says he has not decided whether to accept an invitation to testify before Congress about Illinois’ sanctuary policies for noncitizen migrants. Pritzker was summoned to testify in May, alongside the governors of New York and Minnesota.
Pritzker said he didn’t understand why anyone would be subpoenaed when they hadn’t broken any laws. He spoke at a news conference on Tuesday to announce $19 million in state taxpayer funds to expand the Illinois Works Pre-Apprenticeship Program.

The Illinois Department of Public Health has published an updated Illinois School Vaccination Coverage Dashboard. The updated dashboard includes information from the 2024-25 school year.

Last year, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services issued a Final Rule that would expand patient access to state and federal exchanges under the Affordable Care Act. The Trump administration is attempting to reverse the implementation of that rule.
