Dave Portnoy, the founder and president of Barstool Sports, isn’t afraid to get into hot water over his take on former President Joe Biden’s apparent late cancer diagnosis.
“This is a question I think people deserve answers to,” Portnoy said on “Varney & Co.” on Tuesday. “I mean, you’ve got Chuck Schumer, Pelosi, and Obama, if he’s involved. Kamala must have known as well. She told her family, ‘I’m the last person in the room when these decisions are made.'”
“This was one of the great scandals, I think, in American politics,” he said later. “You had a president who clearly was in decline, and it didn’t take a rocket scientist to say this.”
The outspoken media mogul wants to know “who was running the White House,” after Biden’s team revealed on Sunday that the former president “was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms.”
Biden was diagnosed with prostate cancer, which had a Gleason score of 9 (Grade 5) and bone metastasis, according to his team.
On Monday, former President Biden made his first public comment on X, writing, “Cancer touches us all.” Jill and I, like so many of you, have discovered that we are most powerful in our darkest moments. Thank you for showing us love and support.”
“So I am not sure who was making the decisions. “I don’t think it was him, and I believe they were trying to maintain power,” Portnoy said.
“What irritated me and prompted me to bring this up was that everyone was asking Chuck Schumer and [Hakeem] Jeffries about it. And they say, ‘We’re moving forward. We’re moving forward, we’re moving forward.’ No,” the Barstool Sports “presidente” argued.
“This is something I believe should be investigated… It was not Biden, and that is the scariest aspect of the entire scandal. And, to be honest, if Kamala had won the election, I believe the same people would be in charge,” he added. “It’s a crazy scandal.”
Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, former Biden COVID advisor and Obamacare architect, said on MSNBC Monday that the former president had cancer since the start of his presidency, if not earlier.
“He did not develop it within the last 100-200 days,” Emanuel stated. “He had it when he was President. He most likely had it at the beginning of his presidency in 2021. I don’t believe there is any disagreement about that.”
