When Will the Checks Arrive?
The stimulus checks will be mailed starting in mid-October 2025. Since so many people are eligible, the mailing process will take several weeks.
There will be no tracking system and no updates available through the Contact Center. Governor Hochul simply asked residents to “check your inbox patiently.”
Also, the checks will come in plain envelopes without state markings to reduce the risk of mail theft. Be careful of scam calls or emails claiming they can speed up your payment. The government will never ask for personal details to send you a check.
