If someone snitch on me, I'm going to get on it': A senior care home worker shoved a 76-year-old lady so hard that she died from a 'complication' of a hip fracture, police say

A Wisconsin woman who worked as a caregiver at a senior care facility is charged with reckless homicide after allegedly shoving a 76-year-old resident so hard that her femur broke, resulting in her death, according to police.

Abrianna Clark, 27, of Milwaukee, has been charged with second-degree reckless homicide for causing the victim’s death in November 2024 while she was caring for him at Story Point Senior Living in Mequon, according to the Ozaukee County District Attorney’s Office.

Clark’s criminal complaint, obtained by local Fox affiliate WITI, details a series of events that occurred at the facility surrounding the victim’s alleged assault, including Clark telling her coworkers, “If anybody snitch on me, I’m going to get on that,” according to prosecutors.

“[The victim] appeared to be fearful of Clark,” the complaint states.

On November 14, Mequon police were dispatched to Story Point for a report of “physical abuse to an elderly person in the memory care unit,” according to the complaint.

When officers arrived, they discovered that Clark had allegedly pushed the victim on November 7, and she had been taken to the hospital for treatment of a broken femur.

The facility director told cops that Clark “had pushed (the victim) to the ground” and even admitted to it later, saying it happened after the victim “hit her with a ruler, and broke her glasses,” according to the complaint.

“I pushed her,” Clark allegedly said about five times, according to a staff member who also spoke with police.

When confronted by police, Clark allegedly changed her tune and claimed she “did not push her,” according to the complaint. She stated that the woman was found on the bathroom floor after falling on her own.

According to online court records, Clark was initially charged with “physical abuse of elder person—recklessly cause great bodily harm” for the alleged incident.

The Ozaukee County Medical Examiner identified the victim’s cause of death as “complication of left hip fracture” when authorities were notified on Jan. 27 that she had died at Story Point. According to court records, prosecutors dismissed the elder abuse case on May 22, after filing homicide charges two days earlier.

Clark reportedly made her first appearance in Ozaukee County court last Wednesday, where her bond was set at $12,500. She is due back in court on June 3.
