An undocumented migrant was arrested after threatening to kill Donald Trump in a chilling note

Is Donald Trump’s life at risk? According to federal authorities, an undocumented immigrant named Ramon Morales Reyes, 54, has been arrested for allegedly threatening to assassinate President Donald Trump in a letter to US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

In a letter dated May 21, Reyes stated that he planned to shoot Trump in the head at one of his rallies and then “self-deport” to Mexico. The handwritten letter stated, “We are tired of this President messing with us Mexicans. We have contributed more to this country than you white people.”

According to The Irish Star, Ramon Morales Reyes was also outraged by Donald Trump’s erratic deportation policies, which have been implemented relentlessly since his return to power in January 2025.

According to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Reyes is currently being held in ICE custody at a Wisconsin facility while awaiting removal proceedings.

The terrifying letter also stated, “I will self-deport back to Mexico.” But not before I use my 30-yard 6 to shoot your beloved President in the head.” Soon after the threats, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem condemned them and called for strict action against the perpetrators.

“Thanks to our ICE officers, this illegal alien who threatened to assassinate President Trump is behind bars,” he said. “This threat comes not even a year after President Trump was shot in Butler, Pennsylvania, and less than two weeks after former FBI Director Comey called for his assassination. I will continue to take all necessary steps to ensure President Trump’s safety.

The DHS team also revealed that Ramon Morales Reyes has a lengthy criminal record and attempted to enter the United States of America at least nine times between 1998 and 2005.

His record includes felony charges for hit and run, criminal damage to property, and disorderly conduct with a domestic abuse modifier.

Donald Trump’s immigration policy, which he announced in January, included removing illegal migrants from the United States. Under the new policy, deportation can now take place anywhere in the country.

It will target and apply to undocumented migrants who cannot demonstrate that they have been in the country for more than two years.

Several people criticized the policy because America has a large population of immigrants, particularly Mexicans, many of whom have settled here over the years.

While many radical Donald Trump supporters backed the idea, others claimed that the administration was being ruthless toward students and families.

For example, Sofia, Deysi Vargas’s young daughter, received life-saving treatment in the United States. She entered the country on temporary humanitarian grounds in 2023.

However, her family claims they have been asked to leave the country. In another case, an immigrant named Kilmar Amrado Abrego-Garcia, who was accused of belonging to the MS-13 gang, was wrongfully deported by the Trump administration.

Despite the backlash, Donald Trump and his team are adamant about continuing the crackdown.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem paid a visit to the arrested members at the notorious hellish El Salvador mega prison in March 2025, accompanied by armed security, to witness illegal immigrants and criminals deported from the United States as part of the infamous immigration policy.

The cells house a total of 15,000 prisoners, including 250 suspected Tren de Aragua and MS-13 members. These inmates have a strict daily routine, and some will never be able to live normal lives due to their harsh sentences.

Addressing violent criminals who intend to flee to the United States, Noem stated, “We are currently in several other countries around the world with a message that says if you are thinking of coming to America illegally, don’t do it.” “You’re not welcome.”

This visit was part of Kristi’s three-day Latin America tour to discuss the increasing flow of organized crime into the United States of America.
