    Lady Tigers Fall to Graves County, Forte’s Double-Double Not Enough

    The Hopkinsville Lady Tigers fell to Graves County on Thursday, losing 59-28. The Lady Eagles (13-3) established a strong lead early in the game, leading 23-7 after the first quarter and 40-17 at halftime. Conlee Spann and Morgan Alexander led the scoring for Graves County with 22 and 19 points, respectively. Hopkinsville (2-9) was led by Shiyah Forte, who recorded a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Kahtahvia Fleming, TaRia Sharber, and Zynia Earthman added 6, 5, and 3 points to Hopkinsville’s score.

    On Saturday, the Hopkinsville Lady Tigers will have the opportunity to redeem themselves in a much-anticipated rematch against their cross-town rivals, Christian County.
