Hopkinsville High School’s Track and Field team had a big showing at KCI, bringing home several top finishes. The girl’s 4×400 meter relay team took first place in their event showing how strong our Tigers are on track.

One of the standout performances of the meet came from Alexandria Williams in the girl’s weight throw event. Williams earned a third-place finish with her throw of 7.07m. Her dedication and hard work paid off as she continued to make her mark as a senior standout.

Another notable performance came from Davian Simon in the boy’s weight throw event. Simon, part of the graduating class of 2025, also took home a third-place finish with a throw of 11.58m. We are excited about Simon and his progress and look forward to watching him mature over the next three seasons with the Tigers.

The Hopkinsville High School Track and Field team has been training hard all season, and the results at the meet in Louisville are a testament to their hard work and dedication. The team’s success in Louisville also reflects the strong support of their coaches, Head Coach Pablo Sanchez and Assistant Coach Jessica Shepherd, the community, and the parents. The team has great chemistry and is determined to what it means to be part of Hopkinsville High School.

Overall, the Hopkinsville High School Track and Field team had a fantastic showing at the meet in Louisville, and we are excited to see how they perform for the remainder of the season.
