    Hoptown’s Winter 2023 Homecoming Court

    Hopkinsville High School is buzzing with excitement for its Winter Homecoming Court 2023! This year’s court is a fantastic group of students chosen to represent the school with pride and honor. The Winter Homecoming Court comprises two representatives from each grade plus four overall court members. Each student has unique talents, academic achievements, and leadership qualities that make them stand out.

    Senior Homecoming King and Queen – Destiny Berry and Bubba Leavell

    The crowd was excited as King Bubba Leavell, and Pep Club president Queen Destiny Berry were crowned Homecoming King and Queen during halftime of the Boys’ blowout victory over Fort Campbell. Both students were filled with joy as they celebrated their special moments with their peers. The stands were filled with cheers and applause as the crowd congratulated the two and wished them the best of luck. It was indeed a moment to remember and a reminder of the power of community.

    Junior Homecoming King and Queen – Caroline Payne and Samuel Kanu

    The Hopkinsville High School faculty and staff are very proud of the Winter Homecoming Court 2023 and all of their accomplishments. These students have worked hard to earn the right to represent their school and community. They have shown that they are classroom, field, and community leaders. Each student has gone above and beyond to demonstrate their commitment to their school and the community, and their accomplishments are something to be celebrated.

    Sophomore King and Queen – McKenzie Williamson and Kentrell Adams

    The Winter Homecoming Court 2023 has been hard at work preparing for the festivities. Various activities will be throughout the week, including a dance and coronation ceremony. The court will also have the opportunity to participate in various activities, such as a parade and a talent show. These events will be an excellent way for the winter court to show their school pride and the community what Hopkinsville High School is all about.

    Freshmen King and Queen – A’Ireona Spikes and LaMareon Jeffers

    It was an unfortunate but necessary decision to move Homecoming for Hoptown from its original date. However, all the students and staff are overjoyed that the new date of February 25th from 8 pm to 10 pm has been set. King Bubba and Queen Destiny and their court will be celebrating the upcoming dance in the next few weeks, and everyone is looking forward to the special occasion. With winter weather settling in, staying safe and enjoying the festivities is essential. Everyone is ready and excited for the new Homecoming date, and it will surely be one to remember!
