A man allegedly abducted a girl from Missouri and had her work for a Colorado snow removal firm

According to the Fort Collins Police Department, a man suspected of kidnapping a juvenile girl and forcing her to work for his snow removal service has been arrested.

According to law enforcement, Maximilian Bondrescu, 44, has been arrested in connection with the case. Bondrescu is accused of renting a car and driving to Missouri to meet the juvenile in December 2024, then returning to Colorado with her.

Investigators stated that the girl reported that Bondrescu held her against her will in Colorado, occasionally taking her out to work for his snow removal company, FoCo Sno GO. Investigators say she was forced to work for Bondrescu’s company and had to wear a mask to conceal her identity and age.

According to reports, a search warrant was used to find the girl. Bondrescu is said to have denied that the girl was present in the house during the search, but she was found there.

Bondrescu had already been registered as a sex offender, according to the Fort Collins Police Department. He has been booked into the Larimer County Jail for the following charges:
