Nevada — According to court documents, a 20-year-old Nevada man is in jail for nearly decapitating his mother and stabbing one of her friends, later telling cops “Holy f—, it looks like I murdered them” after the mother was found dead and the friend was discovered in a driveway, barely clinging to life with knife wounds to her neck and cheek.

Carson Gonzales, the young man accused by authorities, allegedly attacked his mother, Carla Gonzales, 52, and her friend, Angela Clay, 46, on Saturday while the two were at a two-story home in northwest Reno, according to court documents obtained by local NBC and Fox affiliates KRNV and KRXI.

According to police, Carson Gonzales, who was ordered held without bail Thursday on charges of open murder with a deadly weapon and battery with the use of a deadly weapon, attacked the couple after arguing with his mother.

He allegedly attacked Carla Gonzales first, then Clay, after she attempted to intervene in their verbal altercation.

Officers arrived at the scene around 6:30 p.m. that night after receiving multiple 911 calls about a family argument taking place inside the home, where Carla Gonzales, an art and photography teacher at a local high school, lived with a roommate, according to KRNV and KRXI.

As police approached the Reno home, they were allegedly met by Carson Gonzales, who, according to court documents, exited the garage dressed in nothing but a tank top and socks and covered in blood.

His mother was discovered dead inside, with sharp force injuries to the neck.

Authorities took Carson Gonzales to a local police station, where he was interviewed about what happened and allowed to speak with his half brother over the phone, who apparently tried to persuade the young man of what had happened.

“I don’t think you understand what you did tonight,” Carson Gonzales’ brother told him, according to court documents, which describe how the suspect had his phone set to “speaker” during the call, allowing cops to hear what he allegedly said.

“No, I do understand,” Carson Gonzales allegedly replied. “It’s f—ing horrible.”

Investigators reported hearing Carson Gonzales mutter at times during his interview, as well as making “unintelligible” remarks about the case and other random topics, such as statements about the President of the United States.

“Trump killed my queen,” Carson Gonzales allegedly told KRNV and KRXI.

“Let me talk to Trump,” he also told officers, according to court documents.

“Trump is scaring me and stuff,” the young man reportedly said.

According to police, Carson Gonzales claimed to be defending himself while describing the alleged murder and how it occurred. “They were attacking me,” he claimed, according to court documents.

He allegedly made similar remarks when officers first approached him outside his home.

“I don’t know what the f— I’m doing,” he allegedly exclaimed.

According to police, the young man once claimed during his interview that he could “bring her back,” referring to his mother.

“She’s not dead … is she?” Carson Gonzales allegedly asked detectives, who attempted and failed to persuade him to provide details about the murder.

“I don’t really want to talk about it,” he added, according to court records.

“They attacked me…” “I defended myself,” he allegedly stated.

Carson Gonzales was allegedly told by his half brother at the police station that he should have simply diffused the situation and walked away.

“Yep, that’s exactly what I should’ve done,” Carson Gonzales said, according to court documents. “I can’t believe I just did this. “It is f—ed up … it is so f—ed up!”
