Ohio – An Ohio man and woman were arrested in connection with the vehicular homicide of a parent of five children. The incident happened last week in Ohio.

According to authorities, the altercation began when the victim’s 12-year-old child and another child got into a fight. Both defendants, the other boy’s parents, 43-year-old A. CIayton and 46-year-old M. Adkins, allegedly held the victim’s 37-year-old son Norrman against his will.

When the victim arrived to retrieve his child, he allegedly started arguing with the man. The woman then allegedly hit the victim in the head with a brick.

The incident began as a conflict between two boys. The victim’s family told a local news outlet that the father of five discovered his son was being held against his will by the other boy’s parents following an argument.

The victim informed family members that he intended to speak with the other boy’s parents, but when he arrived in their neighborhood, tensions between the father and the couple escalated.

After being hit, the victim attempted to flee the scene with his son. As they walked away, both defendants allegedly entered their vehicle, mounted the curb, and purposefully struck the 37-year-old man. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he later died of his injuries.

The suspects were apprehended at their home in Ohio. They were taken to the county jail and each charged with one count of vehicular manslaughter.

During interviews with investigators, both defendants allegedly denied intentionally striking the victim. However, evidence and witness testimony led to their arrest.

Family members of the victim have expressed their sadness and anger about the incident. One relative described the suspects as cowards, saying, “They’re cowards, but he wasn’t.” “Norman was a great guy.”

The local police department is still investigating the case. Anyone with information should contact their homicide unit.

This tragic event has left the community in mourning over the death of a father who was trying to protect his son.
