The Hopkinsville Rotary Club’s six-night fundraising auction raised more than $634,000 for Christian County’s youth and seniors.
Although complete auction details have not been released, Rotarians report that the total raised from the auction, the Diner and Sweet Shop, and the Hour and Goat Club was $634,383.
The Hopkinsville Rotary Foundation made its eleventh and final grant to the Christian County Literacy Council.
This donation will help launch their CCLC Summer Program, a week-long program that allows children aged 4 to 17 to explore interests and careers in the arts, cooking, fantasy, music, mystery, nature, science, sports, technology, and the world. It is all about instilling creativity, curiosity, and confidence in the next generation.
