Following the discovery of nearly nine pounds of fentanyl and other drugs in a Rocky Point residence, three people are arrested

ROCKY POINT, N.C. – The Pender County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) arrested three people after officers discovered several pounds of various narcotics and firearms at a Rocky Point home.

On April 29, narcotics detectives executed a search warrant at Grey Beard Drive while investigating the distribution of fentanyl and other illicit narcotics in Pender County.

According to a PCSO representative, law enforcement then executed a second search warrant on the home and obtained another warrant on a local storage unit.

The following contraband has been seized:

  • 4,402 Grams (approximately 9 pounds) of counterfeit fentanyl M30 pills
  • 863.6 grams (approximately 1.9 Pounds) of cocaine
  • 915 (approximately 2 pounds) grams of psilocybin mushrooms
  • 2792 grams (approximately 6 pounds) of marijuana
  • 4 grams of methamphetamine
  • 26 grams of “black tar” heroin
  • 107 dosage units of LSD
  • 10 dosage units of Xanax
  • Various items of drug paraphernalia
  • One handgun

Lindsey Nicole Young was charged with cocaine trafficking, three counts of heroin/opium/opiate trafficking, LSD trafficking, two counts of possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver (PWIMSD) Sch II CS, PWIMSD cocaine, PWIMSD heroin, two counts of PWIMSD Sch I CS, PWIMSD Sch VI CS, manufacture Sch II CS, misdemeanor maintain vehicle/dwelling/place CS, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.

Kristen Ciara Payne was arrested on two counts of possession of Schedule II CS and drug paraphernalia. Phillip Daniel Young was arrested for felony possession of Schedule I CS, possession of marijuana (½ to 1 ½ ounces), and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
