The Dodgers Freddie Freeman receives a "no doubt" forecast

The Los Angeles Dodgers have one of Major League Baseball’s hottest hitters right now.

First baseman Freddie Freeman has had a slow start to the 2025 season. But that is no longer the case. Freeman is on fire right now.

He’s played in 27 games and is hitting.361/.438/.701 with eight home runs, 29 RBIs, seven doubles, and one triple. Freeman currently leads the league in batting average (.361), slugging percentage (.701), and OPS (1.139).

He continues to find ways to impress. On Thursday night, the MLB Now crew praised Freeman’s performance thus far, and former MLB first baseman Sean Casey predicted “no doubt” that Freeman will one day be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

“You look at this right here, he’s one of 11 players with a .300 batting average, 500 doubles, and hit his 350th home run the other day,” Casey told the crowd. “We’re looking at a guy that’s going to be in Cooperstown, no doubt about it.”

The Dodgers are obviously fortunate to have him. He is an eight-time All-Star, a former Most Valuable Player, a two-time World Series champion, a Gold Glove Award winner, three Silver Slugger Award winners, and World Series MVP.

All this guy does is win, and if the Dodgers want to win another title, he’ll play a key role. What is it that this guy cannot do? This seems like a fairly safe prediction for him.
