Bella Skylar Kenna, 22, was sentenced to 20 to 40 years in prison for orchestrating the illegal purchase and sale of 17 firearms, as well as the distribution of drugs such as methamphetamine and cocaine in Montgomery, Delaware, Chester, and Philadelphia counties between January 2023 and April 2024, according to Mainline Media News.

Her boyfriend, Scott Michael Grondin, 43, received the same sentence last month after pleading guilty in February to charges of corrupt organizations, illegal sale or transfer of firearms to ineligible persons, unsworn falsification to authorities, altering or obliterating firearm serial numbers, dealing in proceeds of unlawful activities, person not to possess firearms, possession with intent to deliver controlled substances, and conspiracy.

Kenna was also accused of personally purchasing three firearms over a 35-day period.

Grondin and Kenna allegedly removed the serial numbers from seven firearms and “used straw purchase schemes to meet their goals.” Only a few have been recovered, Mainline Media reported in February.

Grondin and Kenna were among seven people arrested in May 2024 for their involvement with the organization. Anthony Figueroa-Marko, Emanuel Torres, Asad Sayed, Felicia McKinnell, and Christopher McNelly, a Norristown resident, were also arrested last year.

The Montgomery County Violent Crime Unit, state police, the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General’s Gun Violence Task Force, and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives all worked together on the investigation, according to Mainline Media.
