A round of severe weather that produced several Tornado Warnings for the Pennyrile region on Tuesday afternoon resulted in minor damage.
Trigg County Emergency Management Director David Bryant only stated that some trees and power lines were downed.
Randy Graham, Christian County Emergency Management Director, reported that the roof of the Rogers Group building on North Main Street in Hopkinsville had peeled back.
Otherwise, trees and powerlines were down, and there were several areas where water ponded on the roads.
Todd County reported minimal damage.
At the height of the storm, approximately 2,100 Pennyrile Electric customers were without power in Trigg County, with just under 400 in Christian County. Todd County reported that only three members were without power.
With Tuesday afternoon’s severe weather threat, areas in the Pennyrile region received approximately one inch of rain.
