A Lima woman was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison for a road rage incident on Interstate 75 near Wapakoneta that killed one person.

Bailey Luckett, 25, pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide for the October crash on I-75 that killed Lima resident David Shutt, 44.

The charges of reckless homicide and failure to stop following an accident were dropped as part of a plea agreement.

According to state troopers, Luckett was driving her car in the northbound lane ahead of a semi when she allegedly came to a stop on the interstate and got out to confront the truck driver. Shutt failed to stop in time and collided with the back of the semi, killing him.

Luckett fled the scene and was eventually apprehended by troopers.
