CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — A Clarksville woman has been charged in a fatal crash involving a pedestrian in Kentucky, according to WKDZ Radio.

The Christian County Grand Jury indicted Rita Justice on Friday on charges of vehicular homicide while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, first offense with an aggravating factor.

According to WKDZ, Samuel Whitworth, 30, was attempting to cross Fort Campbell Boulevard near the Pilot Travel Center when he was fatally struck by a car allegedly driven by Justice on January 4.

Justice was not injured in the collision.
