OAK GROVE, Ky. – The Oak Grove Police Department reports that two men died in an apparent murder-suicide in Christian County.
The Oak Grove Police Department stated that they were dispatched to Arkansas Avenue around 2 a.m. Sunday after receiving a 911 hang-up call.
When police arrived, they discovered one man dead and attempted to negotiate with the other, who had gunshot wounds. Police said the second man was armed and barricaded in a back room.
Police reported that their negotiations were unsuccessful.
When officers entered the home, they discovered the shooter dead from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Police say they are still investigating the shooting.
