Christian County High School's temporary principal is Megan Kem

Megan Kem has been named interim principal at Christian County High School after serving as assistant principal for six years.

According to a press release, she will fill the vacancy left by Leigh Ellen Malone’s resignation, as she has accepted a position with Warren County’s school system.

Kem has worked for Christian County Public Schools for 18 years, serving as a teacher and administrator at both of the district’s public high schools.

She has a master’s degree in secondary English education from the University of Kentucky and a master’s in counseling and school administration from Murray State University.

“I truly believe in the power of education to change lives,” Kem stated in a press release. “I’m passionate about the Profile of a Graduate mission and excited to help Christian County High School students and families.

My commitment is to student success and creating a school culture in which all students can thrive.”

Kem and her husband, Matt, have two children named Lilly and Charlie.
