After shooting into an apartment, a man was charged

A Hopkinsville man was charged after a shot was fired during a fight on Cooperfield Avenue in Hopkinsville on Saturday night.

According to Hopkinsville police, Jarmario Whitlock, 37, got into a fight with someone inside an apartment, exposed himself, and then fired a shot into the apartment, hitting the door.

The shooting left no one injured. Whitlock was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, tampering with physical evidence, burglary, public intoxication, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, fleeing or evading police, and two counts of indecent exposure.
