This week’s Hopkinsville Downtown Burger Days at restaurants and breweries

Hopkinsville’s second annual Downtown Burger Days begins this week, with food trucks lined up every evening from Wednesday to Saturday at Hopkinsville Brewing Co. Several restaurants, including The Crusty Pig, The Mixer, and The Local, are also participating with special menu items.

“We’re celebrating everything burger-related by showcasing downtown restaurants and local food trucks as they unveil new and amazing burger creations: each participating business is creating a specialty burger to highlight during this very delicious and delectable burger-centric event!” the organizers wrote on their Facebook page.

At the Change of Command ceremony, the 101st Airborne Division welcomed its new commanding general

The following food trucks will be serving from 4 to 8 p.m. at the brewery:

• Wednesday — On The Fly
• Thursday — Burgasm
• Friday — Jus’ Burgers
• Saturday — Vansauwa’s Tacos & Vegan Eats

The restaurants are offering:

• The Local — Irish Rueben Burger
• The Crusty Pig — Fried Green Tomato Burger and Barbecue Burger
• The Mixer — Black Truffle Burger
