Two men were charged with drugs following a traffic stop on Madisonville Road in Christian County for an obstructed back windshield on Tuesday afternoon.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped a vehicle driven by 57-year-old Joseph Parrott of Crofton, and he was unable to provide a driver’s license or valid proof of insurance.

Following a search of the vehicle, deputies discovered suspected meth and a glass pipe.

Parrott’s passenger, 54-year-old James Bush, was reportedly found with a pipe, suspected cocaine, suspected marijuana, and a handgun.

Bush was arrested and charged with cocaine possession for the second time, marijuana possession, handgun possession by a convicted felon, and probation violation.

Parrott was also charged with possession of meth, obstructing vision and/or windshield, possessing a license, and failing to produce an insurance card.
