A Hopkinsville woman was taken to the hospital following a three-vehicle crash in Princeton on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison, the wreck happened shortly after 2:45 p.m. at the intersection of US 62 and Park Avenue.
According to police, 19-year-old Ayden Merritt of Cadiz was turning left from Park Avenue onto US 62 to go east when he collided with the passenger side of a Jeep driven by 39-year-old Sherekia Cherry of Hopkinsville, who was traveling west on US 62.
According to police, the impact caused Cherry to lose control of the Jeep, which spun into the eastbound lane and collided with a car driven by 32-year-old Elizabeth Pruitt of Hopkinsville.
According to police, AmeriPro EMS transported Cherry to Caldwell County Hospital for possible injuries.
The Princeton Fire Department assisted police on the scene.
