HARRISON TOWNSHIP Ohio – Thousands of Harrison Township residents will once again receive full police protection thanks to a new agreement with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office announced that Harrison Township trustees approved a contract for services that includes the construction of a sheriff’s office substation at the Harrison Township Civic Center on New Haven Road.
Earlier in 2025, the sheriff’s office informed Harrison Township that it would only respond to emergencies and stop providing other patrol services due to unpaid fees.
Townships and villages without their own police departments frequently pay for services such as road patrol. Harrison Township had not paid in quite some time.
