A Hopkinsville man was charged with drug possession and DUI following a traffic stop on West 9th Street on Thursday night.
Hopkinsville police say they stopped a vehicle driven by 33-year-old Brandon Hillock for a turn signal violation and discovered he had slurred speech.
Law enforcement officers reportedly saw a bag of suspected meth as he exited the vehicle.
Police say his blood was drawn for testing at the hospital, and Hillock was arrested and charged with meth possession, DUI second offense, and failure to or improper signaling.
