A Dawson Springs woman was charged with drugs after a traffic stop near Fort Campbell Boulevard in Christian County on Monday night.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped a vehicle driven by Christy Hale, 45, for a broken tail light and discovered an open alcohol beverage container inside.

She reportedly had an active warrant out of Hopkins County for failure to appear, and a search of her belongings turned up suspected meth.

She was arrested and charged with third-degree meth possession, no taillights, excessive windshield/window tinting, improper registration plate display, and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a vehicle.
