It Rained Teddy Bears in the Gym Tonight

The Hopkinsville Teddy Bear Toss, sponsored by Jennie Stuart Health, was hugely successful! The event, which was held in partnership with Christian County Public Schools and WHOP, helped to collect hundreds of stuffed animals for the Pennyrile Children’s Advocacy Center.

The Teddy Bear Toss is an annual event that encourages attendees to bring new or gently used stuffed animals to a designated location. These stuffed animals are then donated to local children’s organizations, such as the Pennyrile Children’s Advocacy Center. This year’s event was particularly successful, during the Hoptown vs. County basketball game, with hundreds of stuffed animals collected and donated to the center.

The Pennyrile Children’s Advocacy Center is a non-profit organization that provides support and services to children affected by abuse or neglect. The center works to provide a safe and supportive environment for children as they navigate the legal and emotional challenges that come with these experiences. The stuffed animals collected at the Teddy Bear Toss will be used to comfort and support children at the center.

The Hopkinsville Teddy Bear Toss would not have been possible without the support of Jennie Stuart Health, Christian County Public Schools, and WHOP. These organizations helped to plan and promote the event, and their contributions were instrumental in its success.

Overall, the Hopkinsville Teddy Bear Toss was a great success and helped to provide comfort and support to children in need. Thanks to Jennie Stuart Health, CCPS, WHOP, and everyone who participated by bringing a bear to the game tonight.
