    The Tigers Win Big in honor of Sanchez at the Hopkinsville Classic

    The Hopkinsville High School Track and Field team showcased their exceptional athletic abilities and teamwork, taking home the overall victory in the Hopkinsville Classic meet. The girl’s and boys’ teams dominated the competition, with Deaijah Tulllis and William Alston taking home the Pablo Sanchez Fleet Award for their impressive performances.

    Deaijah Tulllis, an exceptional athlete, proved to be a force to be reckoned with, scoring 36 points and taking 1st place in the Girls’ Triple Jump and Girls’ High Jump. She also finished in second place in Girl’s 300m and 100m hurdles, securing her well-deserved spot as the recipient of the Pablo Sanchez Wings award for girls.

    William Alston, also a star athlete, scored 36 points, took 1st place in the boy’s 400m and 100m, and was part of the 1st place 4×400 and 4×100 relay teams. His outstanding performance earned him the Pablo Sanchez Wings Award for the boys.

    Freshman Lauren Mayes also proved to be a standout performer on the day, scoring 23.5 points with 1st place in girls’ 3200m, 3rd in the Girl’s 1600m, 4th in the Girl’s 800m, and part of the first place Girls 4x800m winning team.
