    Pitching Battle ends in loss for the Tigers

    Despite a tough loss to Christian County Varsity Colonels, the Hopkinsville Tigers Varsity team put up a strong effort on Friday night. The Colonels took the lead early on in the game with a single in the first inning. Although Hopkinsville Tigers Varsity fought hard to regain their footing, they could not return and ended up losing 3-0.

    However, the pitching on both sides was quite impressive. Christian County Varsity Colonels’ pitchers struck out an impressive 14 batters, while Hopkinsville Tigers Varsity’s pitching staff sat down 11. Despite the outcome, this game showcased the talent and skill of both teams.
