HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. — A man was reportedly shot during a fight in Hopkinsville on Saturday morning, and a woman was arrested.
According to WKDZ Radio, the Hopkinsville Police Department received a call about a man shot in the leg who was walking down East 14th Street.
According to the radio station, the man was located and transported to Jennie Stuart Health for treatment. However, the nature of the man’s injuries remains unknown.
According to WKDZ Radio, authorities arrived at Bryan Street and discovered 20-year-old Madison Klar, who was inside the home, but she was also taken to the hospital due to facial injuries.
According to the radio station, after speaking with Klar and the victim, police discovered that Klar shot the man in the back of the leg during the fight.
According to WKDZ Radio, Klar was arrested and charged with second-degree assault and felony possession of a handgun.
