Christian County Charges Marion Man With Drug Possession

A Marion man was charged with drug possession following a traffic stop on Eagle Way in Hopkinsville on Friday afternoon.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped a vehicle driven by 42-year-old Richard Hardin for a severely cracked windscreen, and during the stop, his behaviour and criminal history prompted a drug investigation.

Meth, THC edibles, and prescription medication labelled as a controlled substance were allegedly discovered.

Hardin was arrested and charged with second-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of meth, third-degree possession of a controlled substance, and obstructing vision or a windshield.
