Two Special Listening Sessions Are Being Held by the Hopkinsville Small Business Commission

Hopkinsville — As part of National Small Business Week, the Hopkinsville Small Business Commission invites local business owners to two special listening sessions aimed at fostering connection, creativity, and community feedback.

The sessions will take place in the Council Conference Room of the Hopkinsville Municipal Building on Tuesday, April 29, at 5 p.m., and Thursday, May 8, at noon.

Each event will include a 30-minute open forum where local entrepreneurs can discuss what works—and what doesn’t—when it comes to starting or growing a business in Hopkinsville.

Afterwards, attendees can attend a free 30-minute marketing workshop titled “Marketing Outside the Box,” led by Kacie Bryant of LOCAL in My City. The session will cover practical strategies for reaching new customers and standing out in a crowded market.

SBC Representative Diane Turner described these sessions as “more than a check-in — they’re a chance to celebrate wins, identify challenges, and spark ideas that help move Hopkinsville’s business community forward.”

Local business owners, entrepreneurs, and franchisees are welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be served.
