A Paducah woman has been arrested in connection with an assault at a local business that sent a woman to the hospital.
Lauren Weitlauf, 23, was arrested Tuesday in Hopkinsville by the Christian County Sheriff’s Department.
The assault occurred on April 16 at a business in the 2800 block of Lone Oak Road. The victim was shoved to the ground, injuring her shoulder and head.
Detectives used video surveillance to identify Weitlauf as the suspect, resulting in a warrant for her arrest.
Weitlauf is currently being held at the Christian County Jail on a charge of first-degree assault.
