A Hopkinsville man was charged with theft and fleeing from law enforcement on Thursday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called for 20-year-old Jaquan Mcphatter, who was carrying a gun and ramming cars on Abbey Way.
When law enforcement attempted to stop him in the area, he allegedly fled on foot but was apprehended quickly.
Police say he was found with two guns, one of which had been stolen from a vehicle at the Holiday Inn.
McPhatter was arrested and charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, as well as two counts of theft by unlawful taking.
