Following a traffic stop on Fort Campbell Boulevard on Sunday, a convicted felon charged an Albion, Michigan, man with firearm possession.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they pulled over a vehicle driven by 32-year-old Zachary Vanorder for an improper display and an expired registration plate.

During the stop, a handgun magazine was reportedly discovered, and he was found to have an active warrant out of Calhoun County, Michigan, as well as a failure to appear warrant in Christian County.

Deputies say a 9mm Glock handgun was found in the vehicle.

Vanorder was arrested and charged with being a fugitive from another state, possessing a handgun as a convicted felon, and improperly displaying registration plates.
