A man from Huntsville, Alabama, was charged with drug possession and arrested on a warrant during a traffic stop on Auburn Street in Oak Grove on Saturday night.

According to Christian County Sheriff’s deputies, during a routine traffic stop, the passenger in the vehicle, Logean Busby, 27, and the driver gave law enforcement false names.

Busby then reportedly became agitated, threatening to harm himself with a box cutter.

Deputies say that after searching the vehicle, they discovered suspected meth and drug paraphernalia. They also discovered that Busby had a warrant out of Madison County, Alabama, for distributing obscene material with the intent to disseminate.

Busby was arrested and charged with being a fugitive from another state, possessing meth, and tampering with physical evidence.
