The Christian County Sheriff’s Department is looking into a multi-vehicle crash on the Pennyrile Parkway near Crofton early Monday morning.
According to the collision report, 21-year-old Luis Marrero of Miami, Florida, was driving north on the Parkway near the 27-mile marker when he reported feeling dizzy. The vehicle veered off the road, colliding with a guardrail before spinning back into traffic.
Another vehicle saw the accident and pulled over into the emergency lane to assist, but another vehicle heading northbound did not see the wrecked vehicle and struck it. The impact pushed that vehicle into the emergency lane, causing significant damage to all three vehicles.
Marrero was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment, while the other drivers escaped unharmed.
