Hopkinsville faces a minor danger of severe weather as storms move through

HOPKINSVILLE, KY — As storms move through the area Tuesday evening, Hopkinsville and Christian County face a slight risk of severe weather.

According to the National Weather Service’s hazardous weather outlook, a few severe storms are possible tonight, bringing damaging winds, large hail, and heavy rain.

According to the NWS in Paducah, the storms will first move into southeast Missouri between noon and 2 p.m., then spread across the rest of the region throughout the afternoon, with the threat likely to pass before 7 p.m. Multiple rounds of storms will continue for the next few days, until Thursday.
