CLARKSVILLE, TN — A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for Montgomery and the surrounding counties until 5 p.m.
The National Weather Service predicts thunderstorms this afternoon and evening, with some becoming widespread.
Storms are expected to hit our area around noon, with potentially damaging wind gusts and large hail. The tornado threat is low.
The strongest storms will bring heavy rain, but the risk of flooding is low. Additional showers and storms are possible overnight and through Saturday.
