HOPKINSVILLE, KY– Following an unlawful entry into Lowes, an unknown suspect stole four John Deer riding lawn mowers.

According to the Hopkinsville Police Department’s investigation report, store surveillance video captured the theft around midnight on Friday, May 2. The items were reported missing on Saturday afternoon.

The suspect cut the cable to the back gate to gain access to the store, and four riding lawn mowers worth more than $3,000 each were stolen. These items have not been recovered by HPD, and no arrests have occurred.

The suspect could face theft and criminal mischief charges. This is an open investigation; anyone with information should contact the Hopkinsville Police Department.
